On August 29, Huawei released its business performance for the first half of 2024, showing stable operations, with the company stating that the results were in line with expectations. In the first half of 2024, the company achieved sales revenue of 417.5 billion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 34.3%, with a net profit margin of 13.2%. Xu Zhijun, Huawei's rotating chairman, stated, "The group's overall performance is in line with expectations. We will continue to implement a company-wide 'high-quality' strategy, continuously optimize our business portfolio, enhance development resilience, and build a prosperous industrial ecosystem to provide more competitive products and solutions for our customers." In the first quarter of this year, Huawei achieved operating revenue of approximately 178.45 billion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 36.66%. The net profit attributable to shareholders was about 19.65 billion RMB, a remarkable increase of around 564%, with a net profit margin of 11%.
